CNC Sales Engineer
Remote (Located in Los Angeles)
$85,000 Base + Uncapped Commission

As a Technical Sales Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to enhance brand recognition and propel revenue growth through sales and application engineering efforts. This will involve engaging with both current clients and potential new customers, as well as industry partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft and implement a regional sales strategy that aligns with broader corporate objectives, aiming to generate sales revenue in the region.
  • Formulate and enact tactics to boost regional sales revenue and elevate brand visibility.
  • Engage with customers and industry partners to foster and sustain robust, long-term relationships, thus enhancing customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for additional sales through cold-calling, research, networking, and representing the company at local industry events.
  • Offer technical assistance to customers, partners, and end-users across the territory.
  • Advise customers and partners on machining strategies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness using company products and services.
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve complaints from customers and partners within the territory.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s product offerings and services, engaging in ongoing educational opportunities to deepen brand knowledge.
  • Carry out other job-related tasks and responsibilities as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An associate’s degree or higher in a manufacturing or engineering-related discipline.
  • Experience in CNC machining, such as roles in machining, applications engineering, or production management.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM programming tools (e.g., Mastercam, hyperMill, CamTool, Siemens NX, Tebis, etc.).
