Job Title: Cook Wanted to Elevate Culinary Experience in Medina, OH
Full-Time | 40 Hours | Floating Shift w/EOW
Wk. 1 – 5am-1:30pm | Wk. 2 – 6am-2:30pm
Pay Rate: $17.20/hour
We are seeking an enthusiastic Cook to join our dedicated team, where your contributions will play a crucial role in providing nourishing, high-quality meals within a vibrant healthcare setting. Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the food and beverage sector
- Solid understanding of food preparation, portioning, and presentation techniques
- Proficient in safe and effective operation of kitchen equipment
- Strong time management skills to adhere to demanding schedules
- Knowledge of hygiene and food handling best practices
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a healthcare or institutional kitchen environment
- Understanding of menu development and cold food preparation
- Ability to assist with catering for special events and food assembly
- Food safety certifications such as ServSafe
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar capacity within a bustling food service or healthcare setting
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work Full-Time (40 hrs.) Monday through Friday, with some weekends required
- Dedication to upholding cleanliness, safety, and sanitation practices
