**Manufacturing Engineer

**Position Overview**
We are currently looking for a meticulous and creative Manufacturing Process Engineer to enhance and support our manufacturing operations. The individual in this role will assess current manufacturing processes, resolve production challenges, ensure mechanical equipment operates effectively, and implement improvements that boost efficiency, quality, and safety. The successful applicant will possess strong analytical and technical competencies, enabling them to recognize operational issues and generate viable solutions within a dynamic manufacturing setting.
**Key Duties**
– Assess current manufacturing processes and pinpoint areas where productivity, quality, efficiency, and cost reductions can be achieved.
– Conduct inspections, troubleshoot, and ensure that mechanical equipment remains functional and reliable throughout the manufacturing cycle.
– Investigate production challenges, identify the root causes, and take corrective measures to reduce downtime and enhance overall performance.
– Carry out cost-benefit analyses for new manufacturing techniques, equipment, and process enhancements.
– Create detailed equipment layouts, optimize workflows, and develop manufacturing processes.
– Research, design, and establish new manufacturing processes, equipment, and products that align with operational objectives.
– Formulate and execute quality control protocols and continuous improvement strategies.
– Keep precise records of engineering research, maintenance actions, process alterations, and project documentation.
– Engage in equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning tasks.
**Qualifications**
– Bachelor’s degree preferred in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
– Strong comprehension of manufacturing processes, mechanical systems, and industrial machinery.
– Proven experience in troubleshooting mechanical equipment and production systems.
– Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement practices, and quality assurance systems is a plus.
– Capability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and layouts.
– Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various engineering/design software preferred.
