Customer Account Specialist
Stow, OH
$25-$29/HR The Customer Account Specialist is responsible for managing customer orders and ensuring a seamless order fulfillment process from receipt through delivery. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, working closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met, delivery commitments are achieved, and customer satisfaction remains high. Job Responsibilities: 

  • Manage customer demand, orders, and forecasts to support production planning and inventory requirements.
  • Monitor customer order activity and proactively request additional orders or forecast information when needed.
  • Enter and maintain customer forecast data within the ERP system.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, requests, and order-related issues.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and support.
  • Maintain customer records, including pricing agreements, shipping instructions, contact information, and part number cross-references.
  • Review incoming orders to verify pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
  • Coordinate resolution of order discrepancies with internal teams to ensure timely order processing.
  • Communicate delivery updates, delays, freight issues, and other potential service disruptions to customers.
  • Assist with accounts receivable matters, including overdue invoices, credits, and debits that may impact shipments.
  • Enter and track customer complaints, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Process customer credits, replacements, and order adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns and improve service levels.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, environmental practices, and safety requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, or similar business software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business applications.
  • Previous customer service, order management, supply chain, or manufacturing support experience preferred.
