Location: Cleveland, OH
Shift: Rotating
Weekly Gross: $2466
Job Overview for Medical Surgical Telemetry RN
The Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN role is designed for an experienced registered nurse with at least 2 years of recent hands-on experience in Med Surg Tele units within a hospital environment, including a minimum of 18 months in a permanent, non-travel capacity. The RN will be required to float between similar care units as necessary. The typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5. Familiarity with the Epic system from within the past year is preferred.
Key Duties of Medical Surgical Telemetry RN:
- Float between different units as required
- Initiate and manage IVs, as well as perform blood draws
- Utilize Epic for charting purposes
Qualifications for Medical Surgical Telemetry RN:
- Possess an active RN license in Ohio or a Compact RN license
- More than 2 years of recent experience as an MS/Tele RN
- At least 18 months of permanent MS/Tele experience
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
