Project Planner Overview:
The Project Planner plays a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of projects by engaging in strategic planning, scheduling, and coordination. This position is responsible for crafting and sustaining project timelines, tracking progress in relation to set deadlines, and collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to make sure that project goals and deliverables are realized punctually and within the allocated budget.
Project Planner Responsibilities:
- Engaging with project managers and technical specialists to define assignments, tasks, and subtasks.
- Creating, executing, and upholding a robust project scheduling management system.
- Aligning project timelines with both internal teams and external parties.
- Supervising project schedules and important deadlines.
- Recognizing possible delays in the project schedule and facilitating timely interventions.
- Assessing project performance and compiling progress reports.
- Incorporating updates and modifications into project schedules.
- Advising on measures to maintain budget compliance and ensure timely project completion.
- Keeping all stakeholders updated on project schedules and deadlines.
- Recording project scheduling procedures and maintaining relevant documentation.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
