Responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Specialist
- Conduct thorough intake sessions with hiring managers.
- Partner with managers to clarify hiring requirements and align expectations.
- Create and implement compelling job postings that effectively attract candidates.
- Identify and apply effective sourcing strategies for a diverse candidate pool.
- Keep hiring managers and HR business partners informed throughout the recruitment journey.
- Develop pre-screening questions and evaluate resumes.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers to guide best practices in recruitment.
- Adhere to all applicable legal regulations and employment standards.
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt and innovate within a fast-paced, agile business landscape.
- Exhibit a positive, proactive, and results-driven attitude coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Utilize independent judgment and discretion in delivering recruitment services efficiently.
Requirements for the Talent Acquisition Specialist
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3+ years recruiting experience for production-level roles, with some experience in full-time exempt positions.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a substantial requisition load for production roles, regularly managing 50+ open positions at once.
- Strong familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Excellent consulting skills with a capability to question assumptions, challenge thoughts, and propose alternative views.
- Proven track record in social sourcing, leveraging AI for recruitment, and showcasing the organizational talent brand.
- An advanced degree in HR or a related area is preferred.
- Familiarity with Workday Recruit – ATS and Phenom CRM would be advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
