Real Estate Paralegal

$55,000-$70,000
The position of Real Estate Paralegal plays a vital role in assisting attorneys across corporate law, litigation, and real estate sectors. This role encompasses the organization of case files, preparation and editing of legal documents, execution of research activities, and the assurance that various deadlines are adhered to within diverse areas of practice.
Responsibilities of the Real Estate Paralegal:
- Draft, review, and submit legal documents
- Organize and oversee case files and associated documents across several practice areas
- Perform legal and factual research utilizing legal databases and public records
- Aid in preparing cases for hearings, mediations, closings, and trials
- Facilitate communication with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third-party vendors
- Contribute to corporate transactions, encompassing entity formation, annual filings, and corporate governance documentation
- Assist in real estate transactions, including due diligence, title searches, and document preparation
- Track deadlines, court schedules, and filing timelines
Qualifications for the Real Estate Paralegal:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a paralegal or legal assistant within corporate law, litigation, and/or real estate
- In-depth knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and court regulations
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, legal case management software, document management applications, and electronic filing systems
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong time management and communication abilities
- Capability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team
