Sr. IT Software Developer
Fully Remote (Located in EST)
Contract Length: 8 Months (Possibility of Extension)
Compensation: $68.57/hr W2
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with robust cloud expertise for this contractor role. This position requires working in a dynamic and cooperative atmosphere, collaborating with both IT and business teams. Responsibilities include designing, coding, and unit testing utilizing a wide range of technologies that support UI, backend, API, database, and cloud applications.
Key Responsibilities:
– Engaging with story cards using a point system
– Managing task cards
– Developing technical documentation
– Crafting technical designs
– Writing code
– Conducting system and unit testing
– Synchronizing requirements and presenting findings to the Product Owner
Essential Skills:
– Proficiency in C# / .NET development, including APIs and Microservices, as well as ASP.NET/MVC
– Substantial experience with AWS or other cloud services (e.g., Lambdas, SQS, SNS, S3, Terraform)
– MongoDB expertise (using both MongoDB Compass and MongoDB Atlas) and familiarity with MQL & Aggregation Pipelines
– Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
– Experience in creating microservices
– Initiative-driven with the capacity to work independently, collaborate with a team, and engage with business stakeholders
– Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with troubleshooting expertise
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Customer service-focused with a commitment to quality
Desirable Skills and Experience:
– Familiarity with GitHub.com and GitHub Copilot
– Experience with Artifactory/NuGet
– Proficient in using MsTest and NSubstitute for unit testing
– Knowledge of Splunk and Distributed Tracing
– Proficiency in Docsify Markup
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
– At least 7 years of relevant experience in programming and supporting software applications;
– {OR} Completion of a technical training program alongside 4 years of related experience;
– {OR} A Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline with 4 years of relevant experience.
