Chemical Material Technician

As a Chemical Material Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting daily production activities by safely managing materials, aiding in washroom functions, and assisting with warehouse duties. The successful candidate will be reliable, attentive to safety protocols, and capable of collaborating effectively within a team.
Responsibilities of the Chemical Material Technician
- Engage in washroom tasks to clean and oversee glass materials utilized in production activities.
- Acquire knowledge of and adhere to established washroom procedures prior to moving into warehouse tasks.
- Select and prepare necessary materials for blending and production operations.
- Safely handle chemicals, including the processes of pulling, measuring, and pouring as needed.
- Utilize warehouse equipment, such as a tow motor, for material transportation within the facility.
- Assist with material handling and organization within the warehouse space.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while dealing with chemicals and tools.
- Ensure a tidy, organized, and secure working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production demands.
- Consistently arrive punctually and demonstrate reliable attendance.
Qualifications for the Chemical Material Technician
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license is essential.
- Previous experience is not necessary; training will be provided.
- Capability to operate safely within an environment that involves chemicals and glass components.
- Eagerness to learn about washroom and warehouse functions.
- Ability to contribute effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
- Open to working weekends if necessary.
