As a Laboratory Technician, you will perform both chemical and physical tests in a laboratory setting to support scientists in their qualitative and quantitative evaluations of solids, liquids, and gases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance laboratory processes to ensure the generation of accurate and significant results that contribute positively to our objectives.
• Utilize sensitive instruments for sample analysis and testing, reporting your findings to the laboratory manager.
• Handle, label, and evaluate a variety of samples, including blood, toxins, and tissues.
• Plan and execute standardized laboratory tests, making observations and interpreting results accordingly.
• Conduct experiments under controlled conditions to assess or refute different hypotheses using established scientific methods.
• Carefully organize and store all chemical substances, liquids, and gases in compliance with safety protocols.
• Document all results and data meticulously in both paper and electronic formats.
• Maintain equipment and aid in the procurement of laboratory supplies as needed.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations and ensure the laboratory space is kept clean and organized at all times.

Qualifications:

• A degree in a relevant field such as Chemistry, Biology, or equivalent professional experience.
• Familiarity with intricate laboratory methodologies, tools, terminology, materials, and substances.
• Proficient in operating laboratory equipment, statistical analysis, and report preparation.
