Laboratory Testing Technician
Wooster, OH
$22-24/HR
The Laboratory Testing Technician will support laboratory testing efforts and undertake various lab support tasks under the guidance of Scientists and Engineers. Responsibilities of the Laboratory Testing Technician:
- Conduct chemical compatibility assessments.
- Proficient in the use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, and similar diagnostic equipment.
- Perform auto-pumper testing.
- Carry out essential duties as specified by laboratory protocols.
- Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to document experiments and their outcomes.
- Communicate project timelines effectively.
- Ensure equipment is maintained and logs are kept, including daily performance checks and cleaning routines; perform basic maintenance on instruments and tools.
- Keep the laboratory space clean and organized.
- Adhere to safety regulations, follow established safe work practices, and promptly report any safety concerns to appropriate personnel.
- May act as designated EPA GLP personnel.
Requirements for the Laboratory Testing Technician:
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- An Associate degree in a scientific discipline or physics is preferred.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in lab testing.
- Experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and related diagnostic equipment is essential.
